Payroll
The time card is used as a means of accurately recording hours worked and calculating pay. It records regular hours worked, meal periods, overtime, absences and vacations. Accordingly, by clocking in and out, employees must record the time they begin and end work each day, the beginning and end of each meal period, if they leave the office or are engaged in personal business.
Anyone who purposely falsifies these time cards will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination. Repeated or frequent failure to clock in and/or clock out on the time card will be subject to disciplinary action up to termination.
Failure to clock in and/or out for the day and/or lunch will result in the calculation of 8 hours worked for the day with the exception of short work days which will be calculated to actual scheduled hours. Any adjustments will be approved in writing by E.C.Kaufer.
Clocking in or out for someone else, or asking someone else to clock in or out for you is grounds for termination.
